Subject: Matt & Ben L - R are Mirror Junior World Champions!
Matt and Ben have won the Under 16 Junior World title at the ages of 13 &12!
They achieved 10th place overall against other junior, youth and adult
sailors including Olympic and professional sailors.
It has been a gruelling series of 27 x1 hour races in strong winds..(.an
estimated 40 hrs on the water) and their minds and bodies need a well earned
rest for a few days.
The L-R familly also won another trophy in the form of a pearl necklace...the
event raffle prize.
Heather is very pleased that the prize was jewellery and not a boat!
